Class R and Class 1 went on an Autumn adventure this week. The children were well equipped with warm coats, wellington boots, a small bag and a checklist of autumn items to find. We even had a pair of binoculars that were very handy. The weather was certainly on our side this year with beautiful sunshine and not a raindrop in sight but there were still plenty of muddy puddles around to jump in!

We had a fantastic morning hunting for all of the different items and plenty of extras for us to use in our artwork that afternoon. I lost count of the amount of conkers that were crammed into pockets once our bags were too full. The children enjoyed hunting for the largest and smallest leaves they could find as well as looking very carefully for a stick in the shape of a Y.

We had a fantastic day exploring and creating. Thank you to all of the grown ups that joined us for the morning to help.
