The Year 3/4 athletics team were back in action after a couple of months off.

One for the album

We were part of a new competition which involved the top 4 teams from the Rushcliffe Borough, where we finished 4th, and the top 4 teams from the Gedling Borough.

Emily and Nicholas stepped in critically at the last minute with the team two members down. They accomopanied seasoned campaigners of Aaron, Christopher, Barnaby, Matthew, Claudia, Mia, Emily and Victoria.

It was always going to be a tough competition but the team didn't disappoint, throwing and jumping excellently and showing fantastic handling in the relays, to give the faithful supporters plenty to get excited about. 

We finished a very creditable 8th and the children can be very proud of their achievements.

Everyone's a winner.
